One thing that effects that happens to men who are aging is that over time the amount of testosterone you produce in your body declines. This is a natural process of aging, but thankfully there are ways to off set the aging process.
The effects of lower testosterone levels can really change the quality of life in a man.
The various signs of low testosterone are a lower libido, sometimes erectile dysfunction, hair loss, fatigue, muscle loss, decreased bone mass and increased fat gain, especially around the waist.
I read about lower testosterone and started wondering if my levels were low. I had several of the signs in my life.
When I read how gaining weight around the waist was a definite sign it started to make me wonder.
The article said that when testosterone decreases, estrogen in men increases and that the estrogen collects in the belly fat.
Now I had been overweight all my life, but for most of my life it seemed to be evenly distributed throughout my body.
When I reached my late 40’s I noticed an increase in my stomach size. My stomach became so large that it felt like a basketball was inside. I was having trouble bending over because of it. I knew I needed to do something.
When I suggested to my doctor that I should have my testosterone levels checked she suggested seeing a nutritionist instead. Since I didn’t get the response from my doctor, I had to make a decision and I’m thankful for the decision I made.
Everything I read seemed to point to the fact that I was suffering from low testosterone. I decided to get myself a testosterone booster.
I tried a couple different t-boosters but started realizing not all t-boosters are the same. When you are looking for a t-booster make sure you find ingredients such as zinc, the herb fenugreek, and tribulus terrestris. These are proven the help boost your testosterone.
I chose a supplement by Muscletech called Alpha Test. I have never taken a supplement that I have noticed an effect on me like this one has.
Every sign of low testosterone I was suffering from disappeared.
I even had one surprise affect. For several years I would suffer with an eczema on my hands. It would be so bad sometimes that I would have four Band-Aids on my right hand at one time. I would suffer from it almost all year round and the only thing that would help temporarily was Cortizone10.
Now that I started taking Alpha Test, for the last two years I rarely suffer from this problem except a couple days a year on the coldest days of the winter.
Of course the biggest effect of the T-booster is the weight around my waist. The weight there has melted away and that is now one of my best features.
I’m even starting to see a little bit of a six pack which I have never seen.
I would suggest if you are a guy around 50, give a good testosterone supplement a try. Give it a try especially if you are suffering from low energy, fatigue, muscle loss, gaining weight or a lower libido.
Give it a month or two to take affect. You might end up surprised how youthful you will end up feeling. Let me know if you have tried it and what affect it had on you. Leave me a message in the comments.
